WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game on MS-DOS is basically Mortal Kombat in spandex. Yeah, it's technically wrestling, but forget about realistic grapples—this is all about ridiculous special moves and over-the-top attacks. Undertaker shoots ghost projectiles, Doink electrocutes people with a joy buzzer, and Bam Bam Bigelow literally bleeds fire when he gets hit. It’s gloriously stupid.
You pick from eight wrestlers (Bret Hart was my go-to), and matches play out in that classic two-out-of-three rounds format. The digitized graphics look straight out of early '90s arcades, and the action is fast, messy, and way more about button mashing than actual wrestling strategy. Perfect if you just want to wreck someone with absurd combos and laugh at the chaos.
Oh, and the "blood" effects? Yokozuna spills sushi. That should tell you everything.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
